The folks at Temple Baptist Church of Fort Smith, Arkansas would like to welcome you to our website. As you look through the site we hope that you will get a sense of who we are and why our church family is so dedicated to the Christian faith.
Our ultimate goal is to be a people who is pleasing to our God. This however does not set us apart from any other church for there are many churches who seek to be in God’s will, and there is a great many churches that are friendly.
What sets Temple apart from other churches is that we have true concern for others, we believe compassion is an action not just a word spoken from the pulpit. It is from this we get our perspective that true believers are to know, love and help each other as we are to know, love and serve God.
We are not defined by our programs, our building, our staff or even the things we do. We are defined by the relationships we have with God and each other. The single most important relationship is that between the believer and Jesus Christ. The second is family, then church, and then those outside of the faith. Our goal is to help strengthen all of these relationships and to help establish them where they do not exist.
